ScholarRAG: Question Answering over Scientific Papers

A retrieval-augmented system that answers questions about 200 arXiv papers on visual anomaly detection. Every answer has to quote the passage it comes from, the quote is checked in code, and the system declines when the papers do not contain the answer. Retrieval combines BM25 and dense search with a cross-encoder reranker, and Gemini writes the answer. On frozen test sets, the right passage is among the top 5 for 91–93% of questions, 92–93% of answers are judged acceptable with none wrong, and all 20 near-miss questions are refused.

AnoDe: Anomaly Detection Platform for Manufacturing

A quality-control platform that selects a suitable model for each product to detect both visual defects (scratches, dents) and logical defects (missing or misplaced parts). I rebuilt our team’s capstone project, compared several models on MVTec AD and MVTec LOCO, and deployed a live demo. Best image-level AUROC on MVTec AD: 0.982 (PatchCore).

Open Jackson Queueing Network in a Hospital

Modeled hospital patient flow as an open Jackson network and derived the equations used to analyze and improve operational efficiency. In 2026 I recomputed every number in Python and checked the model three independent ways.

Stability of the Belousov–Zhabotinsky Reaction

Analyzed stability and Hopf bifurcations of the Oregonator model to predict when this chemical reaction starts to oscillate. In 2026 I redid the analysis and simulations in Python and corrected the oscillation range.

Thesis: Prime-Detecting Quasimodular Forms

Bachelor’s thesis on quasimodular forms whose coefficients vanish exactly at the primes, with a computer search for congruences that are then proved.
